Jon Aronson began his career in the Card Payments Acquiring industry as a B2B and door-to-door sales representative in 1994 after completing an enlistment in the United States Coast Guard. Over the past 30 years, Jon has successfully collaborated with numerous Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), financial institutions, tens of thousands of merchants, various industry associations, core processors, card issuers, and financial institutions, enhancing business-to-business and business-to-customer relationships across the United States and internationally.

After witnessing several of his merchants fall victim to cyber-attacks, Jon shifted his focus towards identifying and implementing top-tier cyber defenses that are cost-effective for his clients. In 2019, he co-founded AJ Global Cyber Security Consulting. Five years later, Jon and his team have been instrumental in deploying multilayered cyber defenses to tens of thousands of merchants domestically. The mission statement of his company is “To defend against cyber criminals and to convert cyber liabilities into recurring assets for our clients and customers.”

Jon’s extensive experience and success can be attributed to his expertise in developing qualified prospects, marketing treasury and business banking solutions, managing high-volume payment issuance, and overseeing acquirer portfolios. His efforts have led to the creation of new streams of systematic recurring revenue for his employers and clients, consistently increasing revenue year over year. He meticulously measures portfolio growth, security and compliance, field and internal operational systems, and marketing campaigns.

Jon’s background encompasses experience within the banking industry, conducting payment solution feasibility studies, business ownership, and engaging in industry business planning processes. He demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining focus on goals and benchmarks identified by employers and clients. Over the past 30 years, Jon has served as project manager for numerous ventures and acted as a liaison, advisor, and strategist in various capacities. He has reported to Boards, Presidents, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, senior executives, and business owners, providing valuable insights and strategic direction.
